I’m Amanda Swickle, a Long Island, New York native who has been deeply rooted in the entertainment industry from a young age. My professional journey began at 10 years old with the Broadway National Touring Company of Annie the Musical portraying the roles Annie and Pepper. Since then, I have continued my connection to music through national anthem performances at venues including Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, and Citi Field, as well as songwriting collaborations with record labels overseas. These experiences showed me the power that storytelling has in creating communities and sparked my passion for creating impact through the creative arts.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Communications at Northwestern University, focusing on Creative Industry Markets and Organizational & Strategic Communications, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Theatre and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. At Northwestern, I have combined my creative background with my interest in the business of entertainment through my involvement with the Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts, StageStrat, Northwestern’s first entertainment consulting agency, and Seesaw Theatre Board. I have also gained professional working experience through internships with The Shubert Organization, Brookside Artist Management, Authentic Brands Group, ShoreFire Media, and most recently Sony Music Entertainment, exploring areas ranging from talent management and publicity to marketing, strategy, and organizational development.

I am drawn to a career in entertainment because I have experienced firsthand the impact that storytelling can have on people’s lives. As a performer, I witnessed how live entertainment can bring people together, inspire emotion, lift spirits, and create memories that stay with audiences long after the curtain falls. As I have grown, my passion has expanded beyond performing to include the business side of entertainment. I am fascinated by the collaboration behind the scenes that brings creative projects to life, supports artists, and connects people with opportunities.

My goal is to build a career that allows me to combine my creative perspective, firsthand industry experience, and interest in business while contributing to an industry that has had such a profound impact on my own life.
